The World Bank had identified 2 national highways named Gazipur-Elenga (N4) and Natore-Nawabganj (N6), where they will introduce improved engineering designs, pedestrian facilities, emergency care, speed enforcement, and proper signboards , in order to save the state from a road accident. The project is also aiming to introduce better road signs, footpaths, speed breakers, zebra crossing in the five Bangladeshi divisions, namely Dhaka, Khulna, Rajshahi, Rangpur, and Mymensingh. Additionally, the project is aimed at introducing patrol vehicles and crash site cleaning equipment with CCTV , which will provide additional safety measures.
